Employerland, on behalf of a luxury 5-star hotel in Cortina d'Ampezzo, is looking for a SPA Therapist.
Job Description
Our SPA Therapists play a fundamental role in delivering exceptional wellness experiences to our Guests. With professionalism, empathy, and expert technique, she/he performs a wide range of treatments aimed at promoting relaxation, rejuvenation, and well-being. The SPA Therapist works closely with the SPA Manager and the wellness team to ensure the highest standards of service in line with the philosophy and identity of the Hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of treatments, including massages, facials, body rituals, and beauty services, according to protocols and guest preferences.
- Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, providing consultations and recommending personalized treatments.
- Maintain a clean, serene, and well-stocked treatment environment, in compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Stay up to date with trends in wellness and beauty, suggesting new techniques or products to enhance the guest experience.
- Promote and recommend SPA products and retail items to Guests, ensuring their continued well-being beyond the treatment.
- Accurately manage appointment schedules and guest records using the SPA booking system.
- Collaborate with the SPA team to support daily operations and contribute to a harmonious team environment.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest feedback and requests, anticipating their needs.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to continuously improve service quality.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and the hotel’s wellness and safety policies.
Qualifications
- Recognized certification or diploma in massage therapy, aesthetics, or related wellness field.
- Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in a luxury SPA, wellness center, or 5-star hotel environment.
- In-depth knowledge of various massage techniques (Swedish, deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, etc.) and facial/body treatments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, service-oriented attitude.
- High standards of personal presentation and hygiene.
- Ability to adapt treatments to guest needs and preferences.
- Reliability, discretion, and a strong sense of empathy.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Fluency in Italian and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Legal right to work in Italy.
