This is opportunity to develop and maintain one of AWS Service in challenging domain of Text-to-Speech (TTS). Let the computers and the device talk.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AWS Polly services, focusing on operating and engineering systems at massive scale in the Text-to-Speech domain.
- Support business needs, develop new features, tweak existing solutions, and maintain cloud services at scale.
- Work on low-latency distributed systems in the machine learning space.
- Contribute to the implementation of backend and frontend services exposed to end users in the AWS Console and API, focusing on performance and efficiency.
About the team
Our team is a mix of different skillsets and experience that allow us to see daily challenges from different perspectives and deal with them effectively. We are responsible for the low-level infrastructure of the service, backend and frontend services implementation exposed to end users in AWS Console and API. We are passionate about performance and efficiency of our services.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience in object oriented programming in enterprise environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with distributed cloud systems
- Experience with CI/CD systems, build automation and familiarity with DevOps approaches
- Knowledge and experience with various processes in the full SDLC (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build systems, integration and deployment, maintenance, updates, etc.)
