Testing Services Consultant - FinTech

Overview

Join SimCorp, a leading financial technology company, as a Testing Services Consultant in Italy (Milano/Pistoia/Trieste). The role is integral to safeguarding and enhancing the quality of SimCorp client solutions across a range of financial platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and clarify complex business and functional requirements to ensure shared understanding of scope, risks, and quality expectations.
• Design, execute, and maintain test scenarios and test cases aligned with business needs.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders through meetings on requirements, testing approach, progress, and outcomes.
• Document and present test results, defects, and quality risks in a clear and structured way.
• Support incident and defect management through analysis, documentation, and reporting to enable timely resolution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Educational background in STEM or Finance.
• Financial knowledge in investment banking and accounting.
• Experience (3+ years) in software testing or a comparable field.
• Practical coding experience (C# preferred; Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell also welcome).
• Experience creating test automation scripts and scenarios.
• Experience with versioning control (Git/Azure DevOps or similar).
• Hands‑on experience working within Agile methodology.
• Strong analytical approach and attention to detail.
• Solution‑oriented problem‑solving mindset.
• Proven ability to ensure high client satisfaction.
• Strong teamwork, knowledge sharing, and collaborative mindset.
• Fluency in English (min. B2+ or C1).
