Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer to join our team, specializing in the development of test software for end-of-line and cloud-base testing solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in computer vision to create robust testing routines that ensure our products meet high-quality standards before they reach customers. This role involves close collaboration with manufacturing and engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain automated testing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test software using computer vision algorithms for end-of-line testing solutions.
- Design and optimize test routines to verify product quality and functionality at the final stages of production.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and product developers to understand testing requirements and specifications.
- Use computer vision tools and frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow) to create automated inspection processes.
- Analyze test data, document results, and provide feedback to improve product quality and testing efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with testing systems and procedures.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and software to enhance performance and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (≥3 years) in developing test software, preferably for manufacturing applications.
- Strong knowledge of computer vision techniques and tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java or similar.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality assurance practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, in Italian and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hardware integration and automated testing systems.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
