Test engineer

Main Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements and perform feasibility studies based on DFT (Design for Testability) reports.
• Translate test requirements into technical specifications for the development or implementation of hardware, software/firmware, and mechanical solutions.
• Design electrical and electronic systems for automated test equipment (ATE).
• Develop electrical schematics for conditioning and interface boards.
• Define test plans, perform system verification, and validate developed solutions.
• Integrate hardware and software components, and carry out debugging activities.

Required Skills:

• Solid understanding of key test system architectures (ICT, Functional Test, Boundary Scan, Burn-In etc.).
• Knowledge of production and testing processes for electronic devices.
• Proficiency in electrical schematic design using OrCAD.
• Experience with Gerber viewers and CAD software.
• Familiarity with test development tools such as LabVIEW, TestStand, and Python.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with electronic test and measurement instruments, including multimeters, power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, function generators, vector signal analyzers, and data acquisition boards (preferably National Instruments).
• Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken, for technical documentation and communication in international environments.
• Ability to work effectively in dynamic, cross-functional teams, with a focus on results and product quality.

Preferred Educational Background:

Degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
