Test engineer

About the Role

For our Monza site, we are looking for a Test Application Engineer: Reporting to the Test Application Engineer Manager, you will test automatic systems for functional testing of electronic devices.

Responsibilities

• Taking test specifications from customers and defining test procedures
• Implementing the sequence of tests, service, and automatic processes by exploiting the HW and SW tools and optimising their performance
• Validating results by designing diagnostic tests
• Creating scripts for tuning and benchmark testing
• Carrying out HW tests of the test systems with full autonomy
• Preparing test reports
• Installing systems and providing customer support, ensuring their proper functioning
• Ensuring a great customer experience

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in the Electronic field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of the National Instruments software environment: TestStand, LabView
• Good Knowledge in using the main laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, DMM, spectrum/network analyzers, etc.
• Good knowledge of the most common communication protocols (I2C, CAN, Uart, Tcp/Ip...)
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Customer-oriented person able to understand customer needs
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Availability to travel worldwide

Pay range and compensation package

• 42-50K (annual) + health insurance+welfare and meal vouchers (10 euros/day)
