Convatec is looking for a Territory Manager in the Lombardia region to sell and develop the market for our Contence Care solutions. Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, the ideal candidate has deep knowledge of the market dynamics of intermittent catheter sales, hospital sales processes, procurement, and distribution models. The candidate should excel at generating contacts and building relationships with clinicians and non-clinical stakeholders. Key Objectives

Represent the company, communicating its values and product portfolio. Maximize sales performance by establishing solid relationships with doctors, nurses, and non-clinical stakeholders, and by gathering detailed information about patient and end‑user needs. Reach sales targets and monthly, quarterly, and annual activity goals. Generate contacts, new prescriptions, and protect them from the competition. Adapt sales techniques based on the situation, interlocutor, and on‑field opportunities. Analyze sales and market data to make business decisions. Participate in and conduct medical/hospital meetings. Attend local and national events and congresses.

Daily, Monthly, and Quarterly Responsibilities

Qualify, develop, and maintain commercial relationships with stakeholders. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the company, product, and market. Identify opportunities in the territory and implement a plan to capture them. Generate leads, new prescriptions, and develop relationships with doctors, nurses, health authorities, hospitals, and patients. Accurately and in detail update activities in the CRM. Build a consistent and lasting base of end‑users over time. Execute the sales strategy with a planned weekly visit schedule, thinking outside the box and developing new sales tactics for each opportunity. Collaborate with the entire business unit to design local and territory‑specific educational and marketing initiatives. Use tools such as Microsoft Dynamics, ShowPad, and Power BI to monitor sales and territory activities and adopt an effective sales process. Prepare and conduct the closing data review at month, quarter, and year end with the sales director.

Qualifications

Undergraduate or Master’s degree. 3‑5 years of hospital and/or territory sales experience, preferably in chronic care sectors (e.g., intermittent catheterization, stoma, diabetes, wound care, rehabilitation). Preference for experience in intermittent urinary catheter or urology sectors. Commercial sense, deep understanding of sales and market data, and ability to excel in sales. Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Knowledge of procurement procedures and distribution model dynamics in the territory (e.g., public hospitals, orthopedic units, pharmacies, wholesalers, distribution centers, direct distribution). Ability to segment and target accounts efficiently to provide a successful action plan. Ability to work on key priorities and targeted activities. Experience working directly with patients. Ability to analyze sales, market, and business opportunities data. Entrepreneurial approach and mindset. Desire and motivation to build a new business from scratch in the assigned territory.
