Overview
Motorola Solutions Italia SRL is a global technology company focused on safer communities, with solutions spanning video security, access control, software and services. We seek a Territory Development Manager for Video Security & Access Control to engage channel partners, drive revenue growth, and expand our customer base in the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Continuously identify and secure new customers for Video & Access Control products to expand market footprint.
- Drive business growth and foster long-term partner loyalty.
- Execute strategic initiatives to ensure the territory consistently achieves revenue goals.
- Educate Channel Partners on solutions, articulate value, track and report on account activity.
- Assist Channel Partners in processing orders and returns via our distribution network.
- Support video & access control sales activities in the territory by creating, nurturing, and responding to sales opportunities to grow the customer base and increase baseline revenue.
- Support territory leaders in establishing quarterly and annual sales objectives for Channel Partners.
- Track sales activities using lead and project tracking software databases.
- Collaborate with Channel Sales Executives, Business Development Managers, Inside Sales, and Sales Engineering.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of video security solutions sales experience; transactional business experience required.
- 3+ years of customer-facing experience.
- Growth-oriented Business Development mindset with a hunter mentality; proven ability to uncover untapped accounts and convert cold prospects into partnerships.
- Physical security solutions experience is an asset.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written English communication skills.
- Strong technical acumen and ability to discuss products and solutions.
- Ability to accurately forecast revenue on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual bases.
- Proven track record of delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships.
- Understanding of go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy.
- Time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven funnel development through aggressive prospecting.
- Exceptional presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn and demonstrate new software at a high level.
Location & Travel
- Candidates must reside in Veneto.
- Travel will be no less than 50-70% of the time; primarily within North East Italy by car, with some national and international travel for tradeshows and sales conferences.
