ISS International S.p.A. is currently looking for a Telecom Engineer to join an important Oil & Gas development project based in the Milan area, Italy.
The selected professional will support the design review, specification, integration, and execution of telecom systems required for operational communications, plant safety, and emergency response in complex Oil & Gas facilities.
The role includes telecom architecture review, vendor documentation follow‑up, hazardous area compliance, support to procurement, FAT/SAT participation, and coordination with control, safety, and facility systems.
Main Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation & Control Engineering or other relevant Engineering discipline
- At least 10 years of experience in Telecom Engineering after graduation
- Proven experience in telecom systems for Oil & Gas facilities
- Good knowledge of IP PBX, LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, PAGA, CCTV, VHF/UHF radio, marine communications, VSAT and fiber optic backbone systems
- Experience in telecom integration with DCS, ESD, SCADA and F&G systems
- Familiarity with IEC, ITU, NFPA, ISO, API, NORSOK, ATEX / IECEx requirements
- Experience in telecom vendor package review, MRs, TBEs, FATs and SATs
- Good understanding of network security and telecom system operability
- Good command of English

- Start date: April 2026
- Duration: 1 year, renewable
- Working schedule: 8 hours/day – 5 days/week
- Work mode: full time, on site
