Responsibilities
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including those related to sustainability and energy efficiency, with a focus on user experience, international benchmarks, and industry recognitions to maintain a leadership position.
- Define tools and processes to measure quality using relevant applications and customer-valued metrics, employing independent benchmarking to maximize quality indicators (KPIs).
- Foster strategic partnerships with global content and digital partners (e.g., Meta, Google, Amazon, DAZN, Sky) to optimize service quality and network efficiency.
- Analyze and optimize network performance in collaboration with engineering, delivery, operations and other functions to ensure a strong cross-functional approach.
- Promote an innovative, proactive mindset, anticipating technological trends and identifying new improvement opportunities.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of professionals, creating a dynamic, collaborative, results-oriented environment.
- Act as the single point of contact for KPI reporting and communication, ensuring clear interaction with non-technical teams.
- Contribute to defining the long-term technology vision and support digital transformation and sustainable growth.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields.
- Result-oriented with adherence to deadlines, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- 7–10+ years of experience in network quality, technology, engineering, or governance roles within telco operators or large tech players.
- Deep knowledge of fixed, mobile, and transport network technologies (5G, FTTH, IP/MPLS, Cloud Networking).
- Familiarity with benchmarking and independent certification tools/methodologies (e.g., Ookla, Umlaut, Opensignal).
- Experience managing strategic partnerships with global content providers and technology partners.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams in complex, dynamic contexts.
- Experience or knowledge in relevant technical forums and setting standards/trends in technology evolution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reporting and presentations.
- Fluent in English.
- At least 5 years of experience defining network quality strategies and frameworks for Telco operators.
- Experience reengineering quality processes using automation and AI tools.
- Solid track record managing network KPIs and defining sustainability metrics for telecom infrastructure (e.g., site energy efficiency, energy use per GB, renewable energy utilization, recyclable materials).
- Knowledge of quality monitoring and ESG reporting tools applied to next-generation networks.
- Ability to integrate sustainability KPIs into network planning and optimization processes (reducing energy consumption, eco-efficiency, cooling and power system optimization).
