WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Permanent, full-time position
- €30,000 - €45,000 base
- Based in the Thiene (North Vicenza) area, Italy
- Primarily on-site role with up to 30% travel
- Hands-on role working on advanced industrial 3D printing systems
- Clear development path
- Strong training and support from experienced engineering teams
THE ROLE
This is an opportunity for a hands-on technician to step into the world of advanced additive manufacturing and build a long-term technical career.
You will join an established engineering-led business developing and supporting high-precision industrial 3D printing systems used globally. The environment is highly technical, but also very supportive with experienced engineers around you who will help you develop your skills across mechanics, electronics and software.
As a Post-Sales Technician / After-Sales Engineer, you will work directly on complex machines, supporting customers both remotely and on-site. You’ll be involved in troubleshooting real-world issues, understanding how systems behave in production, and helping customers achieve consistent performance.
The role is primarily based on-site in Thiene, working closely with the engineering and service teams, with travel required for installations and customer support when needed (up to 30%). This offers a strong balance between hands-on technical development in a stable environment and exposure to international customer sites without the level of travel typically expected in field service roles.
For junior profiles, this is a genuine learning role, not just repetitive service work.
For mid-level technicians, the role offers the chance to step up and take technical ownership.
Over time, you will build a strong understanding of how complex industrial systems operate – not just how they are built, but how they perform in real-world conditions.
