Join Schindler as a Technical System Integrator Engineer (m/f/d)
We are seeking a Technical System Integrator Engineer to define, build and maintain the hardware infrastructure needed for hardware and software testing.
You will perform integration tests of new PCBAs and assemblies at control‑system level, troubleshoot complex defects and support system evolution through hands‑on engineering.
This role is ideal for candidates with a strong electronics foundation who have expanded into software and testing.
Your Responsibilities
As a Technical System Integrator Engineer, you will support the integration and verification of control‑system components.
Your responsibilities include:
- Integration of embedded software components using modern tools.
- Maintenance and integration of new and existing components.
- Investigation of defects reported by testing and rapid problem‑solving.
- Collaboration with local and remote teams to design new functions and perform integration.
- Ensuring quality, stability and proper operation of systems.
- Performing hardware and software integration tests of new PCBAs and assemblies at control‑system level. Perform SW and FW updates of the test benches
- Performing SW and FW updates of the test benches .
- Building and maintaining the infrastructure for testing and development of elevator control HW/SW, including schematics and documentation.
- Tracking material and versions on simulators and test towers , performing upgrades, ordering and shipping material to other sites.
- Creating and maintaining integration test specifications.
What You Bring (Required Qualifications)
- University degree or equivalent in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Solid HW/Electronics knowledge — able to commission, operate and maintain test benches.
- Hands‑on testing experience (HW/SW integration testing).
- Ability to investigate complex HW/SW defects and decide the appropriate debugging approach.
- Experience analyzing complex technical topics and selecting the right engineering procedure.
- Experience enforcing or adapting tools, standards or processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- English fluency.
- Openness to both mid‑level and senior profiles.

- Broader scripting or software‑development capabilities.
- Experience developing or maintaining test tools.
- Experience with Git or Jira (if applicable to team workflow).
- Ability to design clean, well‑structured integration or testing workflows.
