DOVIT TECHNICAL SUPPORT – SMART HOME and BUILDING AUTOMATION
We are looking for a TECHNICAL SUPPORT for SMART HOME and SMART BUILDING AUTOMATION
Dovit is a manufacturer of multiprotocol home automation solutions for Smart Homes and Smart Buildings with its headquarters in Italy. We offer architects, designers, builders, property developers, and installers flexible Smart Home products and infrastructure featuring innovative design and functionality. The interface, available on Dovit touch screens and mobile app, is intuitive and easy to use.
WHERE? Hybrid (remote and office - VERONA)
After gaining an understanding of the company's organization and business processes, the candidate supports the after sales and RMA process for:
- Resellers / distributors
- System integrators and installers
- End user ticketing and dispatch to the network
SKILLS:
- Experience in support in the B2B market.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to analyse with method and professional behaviour the request from B2B customer
- Experience in analyses, diagnosis and deployment of bus systems
- Experience in smart home and building automation technologies, electrical and special systems in general, installation, programming or both.
YOUR TASKS:
After gaining an understanding of the company's organization and business processes, the technical support will be responsible for the following:
- Customer request analysis and remote diagnostic support
- Programming and deployment of home and building automation, networking and security, remote and on-site
- Maintaining up-to-date customer technical area with technical information on products
- Technical programming of training courses for installers and system integrators
- Reporting to the technical department suggestions and feedback from the field for product and services improvement
- Manage tickets, act and coordinate actions on field when is needed
- Identify upselling opportunities of services and products and create opportunities for the sales network
- Create and management of RMA (Return Material Authorization)
- Analysis of products returned by customers, reporting of the major problem and report if detecting possible production issues
YOUR REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in technical support, installation or deployment in smart home, electricity, HVAC, security, video surveillance, fire and networking sectors
- Knowledge of the installation process and phases
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relational skills, especially when supporting with structured, high-profile customers and clients
- Ability to work methodically and neatly even in stressful situations
- Data mining and reporting skills
- Experience in trainings and dissemination
- Conversional level English is a must
Languages spoken:
- Italian
- English
CONSIDERED A PLUS:
- Experience in the smart home or smart building sector or technical support in specialized distribution of electric and HVAC systems in residential or general civil sectors
- Knowledge of software tools (Word, Excel, …) and preferably familiar with support of products based on bus communication technologies (e.g., DALI, DMX, KNX…)
- Problem solving-oriented mindset
- Team-oriented attitude
- Proficiency in English
CONTRACT TYPE AND SALARY:
- Permanent full-time contract
- Working days: Monday to Friday
- Possibility to work also from home (hybrid)
