Technical Support Application Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Role

This is a technical engineering role, focused on product applications, lab testing, troubleshooting, and technical support to our sales organization and customers.


As a Technical Support Application Engineer , you will act as a key technical interface between the European sales teams, customers, and our R&D organization. You will support the sales organization with deep technical expertise and help translate customer applications into successful product solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer applications and translate them into technical solutions

• Provide expert technical support on semi-conductor switches products, namely – Solid State Relays and Motor Controllers

• Simulate customer applications, building test setups in the laboratory to replicate customer issues and identify solutions

• Troubleshoot complex issues, including hands on testing at customer sites when required

• Deliver technical training to sales teams and partners across Europe

• Collaborate with R&D on product improvements and field feedback

• Act as a technical bridge between the global sales organization and local R&D teams


Your Profile

  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical background (preferred)
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train and explain complex topics clearly
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and self-motivated
  • Fluent in English (mandatory)
  • Additional languages such as Italian, French, or German are a strong advantage
  • Previous experience in a similar technical sales support or application engineering role is a plus
