Technical Superintendent

Our client are a long-established maritime towage operator based in Naples, with a long history of supporting port operations across several major Italian ports. Known for reliability, operational excellence and a modern, well-maintained fleet, the company plays a key role in harbour towing, escorting, emergency response and specialised marine services.

Due to recent expansion they are seeking a Technical Superintendent to support and oversee the technical performance and maintenance of a tugboat fleet. The role involves close coordination with onboard crews, shipyards and internal teams to ensure vessels remain safe, compliant and in optimal operational condition. You will manage maintenance schedules, support dry-dockings and repairs, supervise technical standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of fleet performance.

Requirements

• Sailing experience as a Chief Engineer
• Experience as a Technical Superintendent preferred but not essential
• Proven leadership experience
• Experience in shipyards
• Fluency in Italian and English
