Just finished your studies and ready to dive into the real world of IT? We’re looking for a Helpdesk Intern with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a basic understanding of Windows and Apple systems to support our team across the company.

In this role, you’ll be guided by experienced professionals while learning how to troubleshoot common technical issues, assist colleagues in different departments, and keep our operations running smoothly. It’s a great chance to put your education into practice, strengthen your communication skills, and experience what it’s like working in a fast-moving, multi-regional environment.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide technical assistance to the local InterSystems staff using the appropriate ticketing tools (ServiceNOW). This can take the form of:
  • End user device or virtual machine support
  • Telephony or Video conferencing support
  • Printer issues
  • Application issues or access rights
  • Managing equipment or software purchase requests
  • To assist HR in the onboarding of staff and performing closure actions for departing staff.
  • To build and configure end-user equipment in accordance with standard policies and processes.
  • To manage, record and update asset lists for local infrastructure and user endpoints.
  • Manage business continuity measures on a day-to-day operational basis, (i.e. backup monitoring)
  • Escalation of problems to the relevant specialist teams within Technical Services as required.
  • Respect and maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive files owned by the various departments, notably HR (Human Resources) and Finance, and office-wide emails.

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Desktop support skills, centered around Windows and Microsoft Office suites.
  • A detail-based approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to respond promptly to technical support issues.
  • Ability to work in a process and KPI driven environment, while maintaining a flexible approach to meet the varied needs of the business
  • Desirable: ability to travel internationally to support operations at other locations when needed.

Education & Certifications:

Required: Technical high school diploma or relevant university degree

Required: Fluency in Italian, in addition to professional knowledge of English
