Technical Service Specialist

Specialista Senior / Project Manager In this role you will deliver ABB’s service portfolio following standard processes and safety guidelines, providing technical support and expert problem solving in your domain. You will engage with customers and ABB sales teams to understand needs and drive service growth, and you may work on-site or remotely. The position involves travel to customer sites for preventive maintenance or commissioning and being available for on-call support. This is a hands-on role that contributes to ABB’s mission of enabling reliable, efficient energy systems. Hybrid work options Wellbeing support for employees and families Welfare plan with personalized services Canteen or meal vouchers Provide technical support and problem solving on-site or remotely within your expertise area Identify effective service applications and methods to respond to customer requirements cost-effectively Provide technical consulting to management and customers on service solutions Identify and communicate new sales opportunities to customers and ABB sales teams to drive service growth Coordinate with teams to ensure service delivery adheres to ABB standards and safety guidelines Minimum 5 years of experience in service activities Experience coordinating engineering teams on design of control logic for energy production systems (DEHC, BMS, boiler) Proficiency in software applications in power markets (Reactive Power Regulation Sart, Primary Frequency Power Regulation) At least 5 years' experience in commissioning of the listed applications and control logic Experience with virtualized systems (configuration, operation, maintenance) Strong product expertise in INFI90, Harmony and S+ Suite for Operation, Engineering and Historian; familiarity with AC800F/AC800M, S800, AC500 suite Excellent knowledge of industrial protocols (Profibus Master/Slave, OPC, ModBus) Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations in power generation facilities Willingness to travel ~two weeks per assignment (Italy focus) for preventive maintenance or commissioning; on-call availability for remote or on-site tasks In this role you will deliver ABB’s service portfolio following standard processes and safety guidelines, providing technical support and ex…
