Your role:

As Technical Sales Support Professional , you will be part of the Technical PreSales Support Team , serving as a reference for the Sales Team on Siemens Automation Products, primarily PLC and HMI. Your day‑to‑day activities include supporting the sales team with product updates, assisting customers during new machine configuration, presenting technical news to colleagues and customers, and collaborating closely with headquarters to promote products in the Italian market.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Being the Italian technical reference for the products under your responsibility
• Sharing technical information with colleagues and customers
• Collaborating with Product Manager and Headquarters to market products in Italy
• Building the best automation solutions for customers

What makes you a great match:

Core Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering or Automation Engineering
• 2–3 years of experience in industrial automation systems installation and programming
• Passion and curiosity for technical details of Automation Products (PLC, HMI, SCADA, network devices…)
• Strong orientation toward reaching targets and focus on customers, initiative, autonomy and teamwork
• Desire to share knowledge with others and good communication skills
• Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken
• Availability for national business trips
• Knowledge of IT‑style programming languages (preferably C#, JavaScript) and tools (preferably Visual Studio Code)
• General knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, motion control

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in both industrial automation and IT software development
• Experience with generative AI tools

The pay range for this position is €47,000–€58,000 annually. The actual offer will be determined within this range based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
