Technical Sales Manager – Italy


Location: Remote, must be based in production regions between Milan and Provence

Reporting to: Country Manager


Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to lead commercial and technical sales activities across Italy. This position suits a candidate who can confidently engage in technical conversations with customers while also managing pricing discussions and closing business.

The role combines consultative technical selling with strategic account growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales of feed additives with feed mills, premix manufacturers and large trading companies
  • Deliver technical support and product positioning during customer meetings
  • Drive new customer acquisition and expand existing accounts
  • Lead commercial negotiations and close sales agreements
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with the Country Manager on regional sales planning


Requirements

  • Degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, or Veterinary-related field
  • Experience in technical sales within animal nutrition or feed markets
  • Strong ability to translate technical value into commercial outcomes
  • Fluent Italian
  • English proficiency (B1–B2 level minimum)
  • Comfortable managing a territory-based, remote role
