We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer – HVAC to support the development and delivery of tailored HVAC solutions for customers and partners. This role combines strong engineering expertise with customer-facing engagement, supporting the full lifecycle from technical consultation and solution definition through to commissioning and ongoing support. Working closely with Sales, R&D, and Product Management, the successful candidate will help translate customer requirements into reliable, efficient, and competitive HVAC solutions. The position is based in Belluno , and you will be able to work in a hybrid model with 2 days per week from home.
Key Responsibilities Of The Role
- Collaborate with the Sales team to analyse customer technical requirements and propose customized HVAC solutions that are technically robust and commercially competitive.
- Provide technical support during both pre‑sales and post‑sales phases, including application consulting, functional analysis, system configuration, and component selection.
- Support the configuration, commissioning, and optimization of HVAC systems at customer sites to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Assist with technical troubleshooting, both remotely and on‑site, and supervise installation and commissioning activities when required.
- Act as a technical interface with R&D and Product Management, providing field feedback to support product improvements and the development of new solutions.
- Deliver technical training to customers, OEMs, partners, and internal teams on the configuration, operation, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation, presentations, and sales support materials to support commercial activities.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical roles within the HVAC sector, such as installation, system parameterization, application engineering, technical support, or pre‑sales.
- Solid understanding of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics principles applied to HVAC systems.
- Experience with electronic control systems and HVAC applications, including PLCs and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus and BACnet.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and customer‑focused mindset.
- Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Skills And Qualifications
- Experience supporting system commissioning and optimization in HVAC applications.
- Exposure to OEM environments or complex HVAC installations.
- Experience delivering technical training to customers or partners.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer‑focused solutions.
- Strong interest in developing both technical expertise and commercial understanding within the HVAC industry.
