Technical Sales Engineer – Automotive
Overview
At Arrow Global Components (AGC), part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value‑added services related to electronic components. We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components worldwide through a trusted network of industry leaders.
What You Will Be Doing
- Building, maintaining, and developing strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, and Arrow partners.
- Focusing on the technical needs of complex, emerging, or underpenetrated prospects.
- Creating new opportunities and product selection within accounts and driving demand activity using technical resources as needed.
- Utilizing distribution and supplier knowledge to grow market share and sales.
- Understanding customers’ needs and translating them into Arrow requirements or opportunities.
- Attending supplier training events to stay up‑to‑date on the product line.
- Working within an assigned customer base to grow and develop the business, expanding market share and maximizing Arrow’s share of customer spend.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of related experience in the electronics industry (automotive industry preferred).
- Degree in electronics studies.
- Ability to sell, influence, and negotiate.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels of customers and suppliers.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Knowledge of electronic components (semi‑conductor and IP‑E products).
- Driver’s license.
