About the Role


We are seeking a Technical Sales Architect to join our IPP (Intelligent Products & Platforms) team based in Italy , with global coverage and responsibilities. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor, supporting the sale of HCLSoftware’s Workload Automation, DevOps, and Mainframe solutions across multiple geographies.


You’ll collaborate with sales teams and partners worldwide, engage directly with customers, and architect tailored solutions to address enterprise challenges and drive digital transformation.



Key Responsibilities


  • Drive Revenue: Identify and develop new license opportunities in collaboration with Client Directors, Territory Managers, and Business Partners across global regions.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide deep technical knowledge across Workload Automation, DevOps, and Mainframe offerings (including Control-M, CA7, Autosys).
  • Solution Architecture: Design comprehensive solutions aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Sales Enablement: Support sales teams throughout the sales cycle with technical input, demos, and strategy.
  • Customer Engagement: Lead product demos, proof-of-concepts, and workshops to showcase solution value.
  • Market Insight: Stay informed on global industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders and business partners.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams including Product Management, Development, Support, and Customer Advocacy.



Required Qualifications


  • Experience: 8+ years in technical pre-sales or solution architecture, with a focus on workload automation and DevOps.
  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in tools such as Control-M, CA7, Autosys, Automic, and IBM Workload Automation. ERP (SAP, Oracle) experience is a plus.
  • Cloud Proficiency: Familiarity with cloud platforms and transformation projects.
  • Communication: Ability to articulate complex technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of licensing, pricing, and entitlements.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
