The Technical Safety Lead with naval application experience is responsible for executing and coordinating technical safety engineering activities for FPSO and FNLG projects across various phases, from feasibility to detailed engineering.
- Manage and discuss risk analysis topics (QRA, FERA, etc.), safety studies, and related activities (firefighting, hazardous area classification, passive fire and cryogenic spill protection, Fire & Gas).
- Coordinate process hazard and risk management activities such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL/LOPA.
- Manage activities related to Functional Safety Lifecycle, Technical Integrity, Human Factors Engineering, etc.
- Interface with clients on technical issues.
- Coordinate with other technical disciplines and project management on scheduling and budgeting.
- Manage engineering subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare technical safety reports and deliverables.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal methodologies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in technical disciplines
ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Professional level
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent contract
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 7 years in technical safety, especially in naval projects like FPSO and FLNG.
- Experience interfacing with clients and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of safety studies and risk management (QRA, FERA, BRA, Marine Risk, Dropped Objects, Safety Case).
SOFT SKILLS:
- Good communication, problem-solving, decision-making skills.
- Strong collaboration skills, including digital tools.
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary project teams.
- Experience leading workshops and review meetings.
- Capability to manage multicenter technical safety teams.
IT SKILLS:
- Proficiency in MS Office and Office365.
- Willingness to undertake long-term and short-term business trips.
