Role: As a Technical Safety Engineer in Loss Prevention and Firefighting Activities , you will join the Technical Safety and Environmental Department within the Energy Carriers business line, performing activities across all project phases:

• Loss prevention activities for onshore and floating facilities, including Fire and Gas Detection, Hazardous Area Classification, Passive Fire Protection, and safety signage.
• Design and management of firefighting systems such as Fire Pumps, Deluge and Sprinkler Systems, Foam Systems, including sizing, design basis, PFDs/P&IDs, and system specifications.
• Evaluation of suppliers and subcontractors, management of engineering subcontractors and suppliers, and interface with clients on technical issues.
• Contribute to the development of internal methodologies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in technical disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with onshore and floating applications, ideally with international contracting or engineering companies.
• English language proficiency at C1 level.
• IT Skills: MS Office, Sunrise system, Pipe Net.
• Soft Skills: self-motivated, good communication, problem-solving, team management.
• Nice to have: experience in naval applications.
• Travel availability for business trips.

This is a permanent contract position based in Milan, Italy.
