Technical Regulation Specialist Passive and General Safety

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Regulation Specialist to join our Vehicle & Battery Homologation – Technical Regulations team. He/she will work on Passive and General Safety topics. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding and interpreting technical regulations and standards related to commercial vehicles, advocating IVECO’s technical position, ensuring our products comply with all relevant laws and guidelines.

Main responsibilities :

1. Consolidate consistent interpretations of regulations applicable to commercial vehicles.
2. Share regulatory developments and related knowledge across the organization, leveraging company tools and collaborating closely with colleagues from the Engineering department.
3. Engage with national, European, and global regulatory bodies (ANFIA, ACEA, OICA) to proactively contribute to regulatory evolution and advocate for Iveco’s interests.
4. Act as a trusted partner for internal stakeholders by preparing accurate documentation and reports supporting regulatory compliance activities of IVECO vehicles.

Relevant Skills & Competencies :

1. Master’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
2. Knowledge of technical regulations and standards related to commercial vehicles.
3. Three to five years of experience in passive safety and/ or general safety in Automotive.
4. Proficiency in Italian and English (min B2 level); knowledge of German is a plus.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Ability to work well both in a team and independently.
8. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
9. Competency in Microsoft Office.
10. Availability to travel (mainly to EU countries).
