Who we are looking for:
As a Technical Project Engineer, you will play an active role in shaping Caracol’s advanced engineering projects, contributing to the development and implementation of customized, high-impact solutions for complex industrial applications.
You’ll work side by side with our R&D team, transforming ideas into real systems, from early design to on-site commissioning. Your activities will include defining technical layouts, producing detailed engineering documentation, and supporting the integration of bespoke configurations that embody our commitment to innovation, precision, and quality.
Few examples of responsibilities:
- Support the development of technical layouts and engineering documentation
- Translate customer requirements into clear technical deliverables, under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to collect technical data, evaluate feasibility, and ensure component compatibility.
- Prepare and update Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, and other documentation to support installation and commissioning.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing and troubleshooting, especially for non-standard or first-of-kind solutions.
Ideal Background :
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–3 years of experience in product industrialization.
- Good knowledge of CAD software and mechanical drawing standards.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and assembly methods.
- Familiarity with automation systems and electromechanical components is a plus.
