Technical Platform Owner

The Technical Platform Owner is responsible for the definition, evolution and technical governance of the Flowpack platform, ensuring design consistency, technical robustness, standardization and competitiveness of the product throughout the life cycle.
The Platform Owner will report directly to the Platform and Project Engineering Coordinator.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Design and managing “Customer Driven” projects respecting quality, time and costs.
- Be the technical contact person for all Flowpack machine variants.
- Ensure standardization of modules, technical solutions and interfaces.
- In cooperation with R&D department develop new machines or features to increase the performance and quality of the products.
- In cooperation with R&D department, sharing know-how for R&D projects (market driven).
- Development, implementation and validation of mathematical simulation models of machine parameters, with testing activities on a test bench in the R&D department.
What You Need to Be Successful-Our Offer
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Several years of experience in automated Flowpack machines or distribution systems
- Good knowledge of 3D design (SolidWorks preferred) and calculation software
- Good knowledge of safety directives and standards (e.g. Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, EN ISO 12100, EN 415)
- Good understanding of the English language, both written and oral
- Personal drive and result oriented
- Effective communication skills to easily build trust towards colleagues and stakeholders
