PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Technical Planning specialist is the single point of accountability for feasibility assessment, test request coordination, requirement consolidation and test bench readiness. Ensures that every experimental activity (Development, Durability, Reliability, Homologation) is feasible, correctly prepared, fully validated and aligned with testing standards before and during execution. Performs the final Test Bench Setup Sign‑off, guaranteeing safety, compliance and documentation completeness.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess feasibility of test requests, identifying constraints, risks, required resources and homologation‑specific needs.

• Collect and consolidate technical, safety, instrumentation and automation requirements (SOR‑style).

• Create and maintain the Test Preparation Plan, translating requirements into actionable tasks, owners and timelines.

• Coordinate daily activities with Setup, Maintenance, Instrumentation, Automation and Prototype teams.

• Ensure correct implementation of homologation setups, cycles, boundary conditions and configurations.

• Track preparation progress, remove roadblocks, escalate issues and ensure on time readiness.

• Perform the final Setup Verification & Sign‑off, ensuring completeness of the evidence package.

• Communicate bench readiness to Product Engineering and support Planning/Scheduling with feasibility, capacity and lead‑time inputs.


REQUIREMENTS

• Solid understanding of engine and vehicle test benches, instrumentation and automation.

• Knowledge of Development, Durability, Reliability and Homologation test processes.

• Strong capability in cross‑functional coordination and risk identification.

• Ability to produce structured technical documentation (SOR, feasibility reports, readiness evidence).

• Familiarity with planning and task management tools.
