The Opportunty
We are supporting an entrepreneurial advisory business working with industrial and manufacturing companies at the intersection of technology, operations and innovation.
This is a Partner-level opportunity for a senior technology professional with strong software architecture foundations and practical exposure to industrial environments. The role is suited to someone who understands how software, data, machinery, automation and legacy systems come together in real operational settings, and who wants to help shape robust, high-value solutions for clients.
This is not a narrow specialist role, nor a classic pre-sales position. It is an opportunity to work on solution design, systems integration and technical problem-solving across software and industrial environments, while helping build an evolving technology offering in a high-autonomy setting.
A background in AI is not essential. What matters most is a strong engineering and architecture base, together with the curiosity and capability to grow into applied AI use cases over time.
What we are looking for
· Strong software architecture, coding and engineering fundamentals
· Experience where software meets industrial systems, machinery or field data
· Exposure to industrial IT/OT environments such as automation, PLCs, SCADA, sensors or IoT
· Experience integrating modern applications with ERP, MES or legacy systems
· Practical grounding in infrastructure, networks or cybersecurity
· Comfortable operating at solution level in an entrepreneurial environment
· Professional fluency in Italian and English
