Role Description
This is a part-time adjunct professor role for Calculus Instructor at Catholic Institute of Technology. The role will be to teach for weeks between: 9/15/2025 - 12/18/25. For each week, the professor will be responsible for 6 hours of teaching (3 hours of lecture + 3 hours of recitation/problem solving) plus preparation outside of class. The role includes grading the Calculus Placement Exam.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Calculus
- Experience in teaching college-level courses
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
- Ability to grade the Calculus Placement Exam
- Ph.D. in Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field (preferred)
Note: This position is in-person on our campus in Castel Gandolfo. On campus- housing is available for qualified visiting faculty members located outside of the Rome area.
