Hinowa S.P.A. was founded in 1987 and places its origins on a long family tradition of construction equipment. From the outset the objective was to develop the machines on rubber tracks, creating applications on different fields, as agriculture, gardening, plant engineering, construction, shipbuilding and industry. Hinowa has grown in a rapid way but it managed to keep pace with market trends and coming up with the new ideas. The Italian and European markets absorb more than 80% of the Hinowa production while the America, Australian and Asiatic markets are growing. Hinowa is located in Nogara, in the province of Verona and it covers an area of 90,000 square meters, of which 13,000 are covered.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Tactical Buyer role is a position that supports the purchasing and supply chain department areas of responsibility. It is primarily focused on coordinating purchasing activities. The typical role is responsible for daily coordination and administration of purchase transactions in support of business operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
· Act as primary day to day contact with the supply base on the scheduling and delivery of all purchased parts in support of JLG demand. Manage communication with supplier from forecast, vendor acknowledgement, delivery, Invoicing issues and others.
· Manage on-time delivery performance of the supply base by resolving constraints whether they exist at the supplier or at JLG. This includes current and future part shortages, past due purchase order management as well as expediting and deferring of purchase orders.
· Investigate alternative solutions to address limited availability of parts, internal to JLG and within the external supply markets.
· Collaborate across departments to resolve shipment, quantity and invoicing discrepancies and create corrective actions to avoid issues in the future.
· Maintain system database of planning and procurement parameters as necessary to ensure the plan is reflective of actual inventory and forecast.
· Build and maintain cohesive relationships with the supply base, internal, and external customers to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
· Monitor incoming shipments and manage logistical issues.
· Interface with suppliers on purchasing activity through the supplier portal or other communication channels.
· Participate in preparation of supplier business review meetings to review and improve supplier performance.
· Participate on project teams leading supply chain optimization initiatives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's Degree.
· Two (2) or more years of relevant experience.
· Profile:
- Critical thinker with attention to detail, a natural collaborator and problem solver that strives for continuous improvement.
- Requires the ability to think from principles and demonstrates ability to challenge processes.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office & ERP.
· Fluent in Italian and English.
· Ability to travel up to 10%
