Job Title: Senior System / Platform Engineer
Location: Milan, Lombardy, Italy

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System / Platform Engineer to support the deployment, management, and optimization of enterprise and telecom-grade platforms.
This role is responsible for ensuring platform stability, scalability, and operational excellence across both virtualized and containerized environments.
The ideal candidate is a self-driven, reliable, and technically strong professional capable of handling complex systems in mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and manage Linux (RHEL) and Kubernetes-based platforms
Integrate infrastructure components including compute, storage, and networking
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues in production environments
Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and system optimization
Support automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency
Manage and maintain production and lab environments
Ensure system reliability, availability, and continuous improvement
Core Technical Skills
Strong expertise in Linux (RHEL)
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container platforms
Knowledge of virtualization technologies
Experience in infrastructure and system integration
Proficiency in monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Basic experience with scripting and automation
Soft Skills & Experience
Strong ownership and accountability
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Focus on system reliability and operational excellence
Ability to perform effectively in mission-critical environments
Preferred / Recommended Skills
Experience with cloud and hybrid environments
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms
Exposure to AI-based operations, including:
Anomaly detection
Predictive maintenance
AI-driven monitoring
