Overview

V2X builds smart solutions to integrate physical and digital infrastructure worldwide, supporting security, logistics, and readiness. We are seeking a Systems Engineer 3 to support the Navy’s Maritime Operations Centers (MOC), including troubleshooting, maintenance, and training for Navy systems. The role involves systems administration, network engineering, end-user support, and serving as a senior technical advisor. Top Secret clearance (may require TS/SCI at some sites) is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site troubleshooting and maintenance for Navy systems, lead coordination with Fleet Systems Engineers.
• Provide networking support for C4I systems, varying by site.
• Coordinate repair and provide engineering services for C4I systems.
• Support hardware/software upgrades, system architecture, and configuration.
• Assist with web-based C2 applications and user access support.
• Recommend improvements for application and system utilization, including COP management.
• Support fast-paced operations, network testing, IA compliance, security logs, and SOP reviews.
• Interact with shore and ship-based organizations and end-users.
• Less than 15% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in IT or 8+ years related technical experience.
• Experience in network operations, server virtualization, and systems administration (Unix/Windows).
• Knowledge of fleet communications and military C2 architectures.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to train.

Clearance: Top Secret (may require TS/SCI).

Preferred Certifications:

• IAT2, IA, CE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Windows/Unix/Linux OS.
