System Test Engineer - settore ferroviario

Position Mission

In the aim of expanding the ETCS System Test Team, AngelStar is seeking a motivated and proactive candidate to join into the loop of system test activities executed in:

- AngelStar laboratory to demonstrate the correct and complete implementation of ETCS requirements

- On board of real trains to demonstrate the correct train/track integration.

- External Laboratory to demonstrate the correct Interoperability of the system with external laboratories

This role requires a problem-solving thinking, ability to work in a team, with desire to learn and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Define the test plan according to the project milestones
• Design test cases according to the system requirements
• Execute the tests in the AngelStar laboratory, external laboratories and/or onboard of real trains
• Analyse data collected from the ETCS onboard system and subsystem
• Write and manage test documentation

Technical Skills, Qualifications and Professional Experience

• Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering (or similar)
• Basic knowledge of Visual Studio Suite, .Net Framework and other technologies (C, C++, C# language, Microsoft Azure, WPF)
• Good knowledge of Windows operating system and office automation tools
• Good knowledge of English language
• Available to travel for on-site test activities
• Preferable basic knowledge of European railway signalling system (ETCS)
