We are looking for a dynamic Channel Director who has proven experience driving the development and management of channels. This role reports to our VP of Global Channel Sales and will focus on developing and managing our Resellers, System Integrators and regional Strategic Alliances within EMEA.
Responsibilities
- Own the overall channel partnerships within the Region and help recruit and onboard new channel partners.
- Manage a regional team of Partner Managers to help execute the Channel strategy and regional partnerships.
- Align and manage relationships with the regional Sales leadership organizations, helping to drive Channel adoption within the market.
- Manage conflict with consistent communications and strong problem solving skills.
- Create an annual plan for Channel partners with documented goals and objectives.
- Drive regional programs to motivate partners’ investments in pipeline building activity.
- Proper forecasting of the business with your Partners and Cadence sales management.
- Maintain a positive, proactive demeanor, always exercise excellent judgment, and demonstrate the ability to initiate new programs with the support of senior management.
Qualifications
- BA / BS degree or equivalent; an advanced degree is highly desirable.
- This is a sales incentive plan position with a base and a variable target based on quota achievement.
- Track record of over achieving sales revenue and partner success results.
- 15+ years of experience in managing channel and/or direct sales.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
- Proven ability to partner with a wide variety of senior-level individuals including top-level business leaders and customers.
- Experience in working with software vendors in the technology industry; direct experience at an EDA company is not required but is a plus.
