A challenge aimed at strengthening the technological and industrial sovereignty of the countries involved, because it aims to identify and make available those innovative technologies, called enabling technologies, which will ensure the generational leap, generating positive returns and economic and social progress for the entire country system, benefiting new generations.The resources who will work within this program will have the opportunity to access a professional growth path in an international and technologically advanced context.Within the Electronics business area, we are looking for a **System Engineer** specializing in **Image Processing & Computer Vision** for our Nerviano office.The person will mainly deal with the following activities:* Definition, analysis and development of algorithms for image processing;
* Study and definitionof data processing techniques with advanced techniques;
* Definition of systemrequirements for research, detection and tracking;
* Study of tracking systems and data fusion.**Education:**Master's Degree or PhD in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics.**Seniority:****Junior**: 1-3 years of experience, **Expert**: 3-5 years of experience.**Technical knowledge and skills:*** Theoretical and practical mathematical aspects of signal and image processing;
* Statistics applied to signal and image processing;
* Reference principlesof electronics/computer science and communication theory;
* Tools for algorithmic simulation (e.G. MATLAB, Python,…).**Represent a plus:*** Model Based Engineering;
* Principles of opticsand electro-optics;
* Techniques for automatic recognition of signals and images (Computer Vision, Machine Learning);
* Artificial intelligence techniques;
* Techniques for automatic tracking;
* Elements of automatic controls.**Behavioral skills:*** Results-orientation;
* Ability to analyze, synthesize and communicate effectively;
* Ability to work in ateam;
* Proactivity and aptitude for innovation;
**Language skills:**Good knowledge of written and spoken English, B2 level.**Computer skills:*** Office package;
* Good knowledge of the main planning tools (MS Project) and the main requirements management tools (DOORS);
* Programming languages: C, C++, Python.**Other (e.G.
