La posizione è aperta all’interno del team di Leonardo.**Job Description:**Leonardo is an international industrial group, among the world's leading companies in Aerospace, Defense and Security, creating multi-domain technological capabilities in Helicopters, Aircraft, Aerostructures, Electronics, Cyber Security and Space.Within the Self Protection & Sensor Fusion organizational unit of the Electronics Business Unit, we are looking for a System Engineer Infrared Systems for our Nerviano office.The person will mainly be involved in the following activities:* Definition and development of infrared/multispectral image processing algorithms* Integration of these into simulators and equipment* Analysis and testing of implemented solutions in simulated and laboratory environments* Definition of system and sub-system requirements* Participation in the development of new functionalities in integrated, including international, teams**Educational Qualifications:*** Master's degree in Engineering/Physics.**Seniority*** Junior: 1-3 years of experience, Expert: 3-5 years of experience**Technical Knowledge and Skills*** Simulation and analysis tools and suites (Matlab, Simulink, etc.)* Image processing algorithms and issues* Knowledge of concepts and applications of Neural Networks/Machine Learning* Development of algorithms for systems based on CPU/GPU/FPGA architectures* Testing capabilities in simulated environments and on equipment**Behavioral Competencies**:* Proactivity;
* Ability to work in ateam;
* Problem-solving attitude;
