Stellantis is seeking a System Design Lead to join the Virtual Engineering team for propulsion systems in Turin.
In this role, you will support product development through advanced virtual analysis, contributing to the technical definition, validation and continuous improvement of propulsion systems . You will operate in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with multiple engineering teams to ensure robust system design, effective risk management and timely issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze system architectures and concepts to meet functional requirements
- Deliver technical assessments at key project milestones
- Lead issue resolution and lessons learned activities , ensuring updates to engineering standards
- Manage risks and support mitigation actions throughout the development lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engine, transmission, controls and vehicle integration teams
- Interface with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure alignment on technical solutions
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports to engineering leadership and management
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Applied Physics or related field)
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Strong command of English and Italian , both written and spoken (at least B2)
- Solid technical and analytical background in the automotive field
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Ability to work effectively in complex and dynamic environments
- Proactive, self-driven mindset with strong teamwork orientation
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
