Overview
Experteer OverviewAs Lighting System Architect you will design and validate integrated lighting architectures within the GEWISS LightZone ecosystem. You collaborate with Sales and end users to translate needs into scalable, interoperable solutions crossing lighting, controls, IoT and digital services. You will shape reference architectures for priority markets and guide complex projects from specification to execution. This role offers the chance to influence product development and drive cross-functional implementation at scale. Responsibilities
Develop end-to-end lighting system architectures for complex projects Define control philosophies, layouts, integration logic and technical requirements Create scalable reference architectures and blueprints for priority markets Ensure interoperability among lighting, controls, IoT devices, sensors and third-party systems Validate feasibility, scalability, performance and reliability of solutions Support Sales and Account teams in strategic opportunities Lead technical discovery workshops and translate customer needs into architectures Prepare system diagrams, architecture narratives and solution documentation Support value engineering while maintaining quality and compliance Assist in tender reviews, risk assessment and solution documentation Contribute to market feedback and development of new digital services and vertical packages Promote best practices in interoperability and system thinking across the organization Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant engineering disciplines Proficient in English; Italian/French/Spanish/German a plus Minimum 7 years in professional lighting, lighting controls, smart buildings or IoT systems Experience in customer-facing technical roles supporting complex solution sales or strategic projects Experience with consultants, municipalities, infrastructure operators, developers and end users International project exposure; multi-brand or multi-technology integration is a plus Benefits / Additional Requirements
