System Administrator with DevOps profile

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator with a strong DevOps background to manage and optimize our infrastructure, ensure smooth operations, and support development pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CI/CD, containerization, Linux administration, and database management.
Requirements
- Master’s degree with 11+ years of relevant experience or
- Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of relevant experience
- Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD and server management
- Expertise in Docker and container orchestration
- Solid knowledge of automation tools, preferably Ansible
- Proven experience in Linux administration, especially Ubuntu LTS
- Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, including backup strategies and replication
- Knowledge of backup and restore policies and best practices
- Basic networking knowledge, including troubleshooting and configuration
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to provide end‑user support
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain GitLab CI/CD servers and pipelines
- Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker
- Automate routine tasks using Ansible
- Administer and maintain Swarm clusters and other DevOps environments
- Manage Linux systems (Ubuntu LTS), ensuring stability, security, and performance
- Maintain PostgreSQL databases, including backups (Barman), replication (master‑slave), and restore procedures
- Implement and enforce backup and restore policies across systems
- Provide day‑to‑day end‑user support for infrastructure‑related issues
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network configurations and connectivity
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to support deployment and automation needs
