Job Description:
Evotec is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented SVP, Head of Commercial Operations to set up and lead the development and optimization of commercial processes, tools, analytics, and support systems to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer-centric execution. This pivotal role will focus on improving sales effectiveness, streamlining business processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the commercial organization. The role will include oversight of proposal management, CRM, sales process optimization, and pipeline insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in commercial strategy, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to drive impactful change and deliver value to both internal stakeholders and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and oversee a unified global proposal process across all Evotec sites, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Implement and manage key commercial tools to streamline the sales process and drive effective execution.
- Guarantee that customers receive exceptional service from Evotec.
- Track and optimize KPIs to meet commercial targets, including proposal turnaround times.
- Partner with commercial leadership to operationalize go-to-market strategies. Act as the primary liaison between legal and other commercial teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment.
Qualifications:
- Operational background in Pharma, Biotech, or CRO industries: Extensive experience in senior executive roles within these sectors, with a strong understanding of operational challenges and strategic priorities.
- Project & commercial management experience: Proven ability to manage complex projects, optimize processes, and lead proposal development, CRM systems, and sales operations.
- Leadership & cross-functional collaboration: Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams, driving strategic alignment, and ensuring effective execution.
- Customer & KPI focus: Demonstrated ability to deliver premium customer service while driving performance through KPIs.
- Legal & communication skills: Expertise in navigating legal and regulatory landscapes within commercial operations, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences and senior stakeholders.
