Sustainable Procurement Intern

Reporting to the Procurement Director, the job holder will be accountable for the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the management and update of supplier sustainability assessments (e.g. EcoVadis, SA8000) for Packaging, RMS and Indirect categories
- Assisting in the collection, review and filing of suppliers’ sustainability and transparency documentation
- Supporting the qualification and onboarding of new suppliers, including the analysis and recovery of historical documentation
- Managing CSR-related requests from internal and external stakeholders (e.g. WBA and other sustainability initiatives)
- Supporting local affiliates / HR teams on EcoVadis, SA8000, certifications and Group sustainability projects
- Assisting in supplier evaluation and monitoring activities from an ESG perspective
- Supporting analytical activities and reporting related to sustainable procurement and sustainability topics
Skills required
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in in Environmental, economics or sustainability science
· Good knowledge of English
· Strong knowledge of main IT systems (ERP, Office)
· Excellent and effective interpersonal skills
· Good communication and ability to synthesize
· Negotiation / Influencing skills: ability to achieve a satisfactory compromise and agreement to meet goals
· Very good analytical skills and ability to gather information when this is poor or lacking
· Good problem solving and ability to find out solutions
