THE ROLE

You will help deliver high-quality, metrics-based consulting services to clients in Italy as a Sustainability Specialist at Quantis. Your responsibilities include:

  • Executing technical tasks in client projects with expertise in LCA and Carbon footprint
  • Contributing to multiple client projects with standard offerings
  • Building productive relationships with client contacts

IS THIS YOU AND YOUR NEXT ROLE?

  • You’re motivated to align business with Planetary Boundaries using your technical expertise.
  • You have 2+ years of experience in a professional setting, preferably with consulting exposure.
  • You possess a science-based orientation, curiosity, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • You have experience in performing, managing, and communicating sustainability results in consulting, industry, or academia.
  • You are skilled in technical analysis, modeling, and data management.
  • You can interpret data for varied audiences and generate insights through reports and presentations.
  • You have strong knowledge of Carbon Footprint and LCA services, with interest in further developing your skills.
  • You are proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiar with LCA software like SimaPro, GaBi, or OpenLCA.
  • You know ISO standards relevant to sustainability and GHG protocols; SBTi knowledge is a plus.
  • You are team-oriented, with experience or interest in academic collaborations; fluent in Italian and proficient in English.

WORK EXPECTATIONS

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses (e.g., LCA, footprinting, scenario modeling).
  • Collaborate on developing tailored sustainability solutions and client recommendations.
  • Support client interactions and project communication.
  • Prepare reports and presentations of findings and insights.
  • Assist clients in understanding and implementing solutions.
  • Contribute to proposals and client meetings as needed.
