Overview

An exciting opportunity to join a well‑established independent small animal hospital in Dublin as a Surgical Veterinary Surgeon / Surgical Lead. The role is ideal for a veterinarian with a strong interest in surgery, whether already holding a surgical certificate or looking to work towards one. You will work within a busy, supportive team offering a varied surgical caseload, with scope to develop and expand surgical services.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced soft tissue surgical procedures.
• Handle a diverse range of cases including BOAS surgeries, perineal hernia repairs, thyroidectomies, anal sacculations, complex mass removals, and extracapsular cruciate repairs.
• Collaborate with an experienced team of 7 vets (5 FTE) and dedicated support staff.
• Contribute to shaping the direction and growth of surgical services within the practice.
