MULTIFONDS SERVICE OFFICER
Main responsibilities:
As part of the IT Team, the Multifonds(*) Service Officer will assist on the functional setup of the fund accounting platform and will provide support to the fund accounting team. He/she will also manage “out-of-platform” requests for data extraction and general reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of fund accounting processes and the ability to work confidently with databases. The position will be based in Milan, Italy.
(*) Multifonds is a top-tier platform for management of UCIT funds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support for users of the fund accounting platform.
- Handle and track user request, incidents, and data-related queries.
- Perform basic checks on accounting data / mismatches.
- Support routine operational tasks related to fund accounting processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of request and resolutions. Contribute to the knowledge database.
- Data extraction from informational databases.
Qualifications and experience:
- University degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
- Good knowledge of investment funds and main financial products
- Proven experience on UCITS accounting
- Fluent in English, any other language is an advantage
- Good knowledge on MS Office tools (Excel, Macros…)
- Experience on data manipulation. Ability to extract data from SQL databases.
- Knowledge in Multifonds
- Optional: Knowledge in e-front (alternative fund accounting platform) or in any other main fund accounting platform.
