We are looking for a resource at the Rosignano production site within the Global Business Unit Renewable & Flex Power – Gen Italy, with the role of Shift Support Assistant, within the Operations structure of the Rosignano thermoelectric power plant, in the province of Livorno, and under the coordination of the Shift Leader and Operations Manager. Gen Italy is responsible for the management and operation of ENGIE's thermal generation plants in Europe, including natural gas, coal, biomass, and cogeneration plants. It is a Business Unit that currently manages approximately 20 GW in 7 countries (Belgium, France, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and the United Kingdom) across 65 sites with a workforce of 1200 employees. To address the challenges of the energy transition, the ambition of Flexible Generation is, on the one hand, to be a reliable support to renewable plants, thanks to the flexibility of its plants, low costs, and low CO2 emissions. On the other hand, based on strong technical expertise, to serve key industrial customers as a provider of integrated energy and service solutions. In Italy, Flexible Generation manages 3 production sites: Leini, Voghera, and Rosignano. What will you do?

Support AT and CT in the operation of the plants in normal operation and in emergencies, performing the field maneuvers requested by them. Analyze plant problems in concert with AT and CT. Perform activities to secure plant components for maintenance activities (work permits) in accordance with the instructions received from the shift leader. Perform maneuvers on plants (from the field) in normal operation and in emergencies. Report faults and plant problems impacting safety, environment, production, and efficiency. Collect relevant operational data. Perform scheduled operational activities within your competence (plant rounds, inspection activities, and tests) according to reference procedures. Monitor the discharge and reintegration of chemical products for thermal cycle conditioning and generator cooling. Why you?

You have a technical high school diploma. You have PES/PAV qualification or wish to obtain it. You have qualification for operating steam generators or wish to obtain it. You have good plant knowledge, you are able to read and interpret process diagrams, electrical diagrams, and P&IDs. You have a good understanding of fundamental elements in safety and environment. Your domicile area is not far from the plant. You know and habitually use the main Office applications (Word, Excel). You like working in a team.
