KNDS Ammo Italy S.P.A. is looking for a Supply Planning Intelligence Specialist
The company represents the centenary legacy of industrial defence tradition of Colleferro (RM), while at the same time becoming part of the KNDS Group and its dynamics as a multinational company with the aim of becoming a leader in the European Defence Industry.
JOB MISSION
The Supply Planning Intelligence Specialist supports the definition and the implementation of procurement and inventory management strategies, contributing to the proper balance between stock levels and material availability. The role analyzes historical and forecast planning and production data, contributes to the development of inventory management policies, and monitors supply performance to help minimize stock-out risks, reduce material obsolescence, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
JOB TASKS
- Analyze material/component requirements based on criticality, lead time, value, and demand variability
- Support the definition and revision of safety stock levels and inventory management policies (e.G., Make to Stock, Make to Order, min/max, reorder point)
- Contribute to the analysis of warehouse space requirements in line with planned volumes and stock management policies
- Support the monitoring and analysis of the risk of material and component obsolescence and provide insights for preventive and corrective actions
- Analyze deviations from the supply plan and production plan within Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes, supporting root cause identification
- Prepare and maintain periodic reports to support management and operational teams in monitoring KPIs and evaluating the performance of inventory management strategies
EDUCATION
Degree in Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related fields
EXPERIENCE
3-5 years in supply planning and inventory management, preferably in complex industrial environments
HARD SKILLS
- Knowledge of inventory management models (safety stock, reorder point, min/max, ABC analysis)
- Familiarity with S&OP and S&OE processes
- Data analysis skills and advanced Excel proficiency
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Ability to analyze supply chain KPIs
- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
