Supply Planner

Who We are Looking For

We are looking for a highly motivated Supply Planner to be included in the Global Sales Demand and PS Planning area, based in Padova (HQ). This hands‑on role is perfect for someone who is looking to introduce advanced planning methods and external best practices in a dynamically growing work environment.

As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for

• Building medium (6-12 months) and long-term (12-24 months) supply plans for the assigned product categories (e.g., optical frames, sunglasses), managing a complex portfolio of international suppliers.
• Translating demand forecasts into purchase plans, including purchase order issuance, considering seasonality, minimum order quantities (MOQs), lead times, production capacity and collection‑related constraints, with the goal of ensuring product availability while controlling costs.
• Managing Make‑to‑Stock and Make‑to‑Order flows.
• Identifying supply risks (capacity, delays, constraints), reporting on capacity utilization, highlighting inefficiencies and proposing continuous improvements in order to reduce wasted capacity.
• Working closely with Demand Planning to align sales plans with supply capabilities, challenging forecasts when operational constraints or financial risks emerge.
• Collaborating with Purchasing, Supplier Management, Operations and Finance teams, actively contributing to timely plan execution and cross‑functional alignment.

You are the person we are looking for if you have

• At least 2+ years of experience in inventory and/or capacity planning, preferably within fashion companies operating in a global environment.
• A solid understanding of supply planning principles, including inventory management, capacity planning and end‑to‑end supply chain processes.
• Strong analytical skills, with hands‑on experience in data analysis, KPI tracking and performance reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, combined with previous experience or solid knowledge of SAP environments (SAP, SAP/BW, SAP S/4) and business intelligence tools, including Tableau.
• The ability to work confidently with complex datasets, dashboards and digital reporting tools, translating data into clear and actionable insights.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, combined with a structured and proactive approach to work.A collaborative mindset, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at different organizational levels.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• A Master’s degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration or a related field.
