The Supply Chain Transformation Project Manager plays a key role in the transformation of the LKQ supply chain planning team, taking responsibility for managing regional implementation of the target operating model in line with the Supply Chain Planning strategy, end-to-end (E2E) and centralized pan-European supply chain planning (SCOPE) implementation.
Utilizing a deep understanding of implementing core processes, this role will support cross-regional projects with tangible business impact. The Business Process Manager will work in partnership with teams and colleagues across various workstreams within an international, collaborative and performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Developing the regional SCOPE implementation plan within the supply chain planning function in line with overall E2E and program plans
Ensuring that timeline and deliverables for SCOPE and ERP (Oracle EBS) are aligned and mitigating dependencies
Collaborating with the Business Process Owner (BPO) for supply chain planning to undertake gap analysis and define and develop the process for SCOPE implementation.
Working with the Business Process Owner (BPO) Supply Chain Planning and dependent functions to support timely execution of change and change impact analyses, ensuring gap closure and improvement initiatives are aligned and tracked
Owning a detailed milestone plan for SCOPE in coordination with relevant stakeholders; tracking and reporting on status and success criteria
Ensuring that all dependent programs within supply chain planning, such as sales and operations planning (S&OP) and Electronic Data Interfacting (EDI) with main suppliers are aligned
Initiating new processes and improvements to close gaps between regional and target processes
Facilitating team and cross-functional alignment according to SCOPE updates, coordinating resource availability for key milestones
Providing input on assessment and budgeting resourcing and workload as required.
Skills and Experience needed
Holds a master’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, economics or related field
6 years' experience in supply chain project management, ideally involving cross-functional programs in complex, multi-country environments.
Experience in supply chain planning with good understanding of IT dependencies as well as systems and analytics
Prior experience with Oracle or SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, preferably in implementation
Ability to communicate effectively with functional and cross-functional teams at all levels
Adopts a patient and detail-oriented approach to content and team management
Good understanding of cross-functional processes with a focus on finance and logistics
Cultural sensitivity and previous experience working with diverse and dispersed teams
Technologically savvy with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Availability and willingness to undertake business travel (up to 10–15% of working time)
