Supply Chain Manager | Solar & BESS

Rome or Milan | €65,000 to €80,000 + Bonus

This is an exciting new role for a leading European renewables business that are growing into one of the markets largest IPPs. This senior role will be building out a new supply chain team in Italy from scratch, initally supporting a solar and BESS portfolio of over 300 plants in Italy. The role will expand to assiting the wider European portfolio, with nearly 2GW of assets across Italy, Germany, Denmark and other European territories.

They are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee procurement and logistics activities across multiple European markets. This position will play a key role in ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of materials and services for the development, construction, and operation of large-scale solar projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement, supplier selection, negotiation, and contracts.
• Manage logistics, inventory, and cross-border supply flows.
• Build supplier relationships and ensure ESG, quality, and safety compliance.
• Work with internal teams to align supply chain with project needs.
• Drive cost optimisation, process efficiency, and digitalisation.

Key Skills & Experience

• Degree in Engineering, Business, or similar.
• 5+ years’ experience in supply chain/procurement (ideally renewables)
• Strong knowledge of international procurement and logistics. Skilled negotiator with cross-border experience.
• Fluent in English; Italian or another European language a plus.
• Happy to travel across Italy and Europe.
